It has been more than five months since my last blog post. Work at Elcho Island Arts has pretty much consumed me and all my spare time since February. It has been a frantic period with a huge amount happening at the art centre, but despite long hours, endless deadlines and huge challenges, it has been a pretty amazing experience all up.
I am in Melbourne for a few days on the first leg of Elcho Island Arts national exhibiton program. We have set up 9 exhibition/presentation events across the country between July and November, and after 6 months on the Island it is great to be now getting out and about with the artists and telling the world the Elcho story (and showing off the artwork and artists).
While I'm home (for a few hours) I thought I'd try and map the events of the past few months with a few post here (with pics and text). If you're interested, happy reading...
